As of now, 2024, there are no direct flights to Dominica from the UK. So you will always have a short connecting flight to make. This slight inconvenience is more than made up for by the sheer unspoilt beauty of the Island. Big brand hotels are only just starting to appear, and there is a new International airport coming in 2 or 3 years. But for now enjoy its semi-isolation, making it very different from its neighbouring islands.
If you are coming from the UK, the simplest and quickest way here is with British Airways, which has daily 9 hour flights to Barbados, arriving at 3.30pm local time. You depart 1½ hours later on the connecting flight of InterCaribbean Airways for a final hour to Dominica. When making your booking with BA, put Dominica in as the destination, and they take care of the rest. You don't have to make a separate booking for the connecting flight. You arrive in Dominica at 6pm and 1 hour later you should arrive at Savanne Paille Holiday Homes either by car rental(recommended), or by taxi for $200 EC / $74US and begin to enjoy your guest house accommodation / b&b near Portsmouth Dominica at my gorgeous plantation house.

Venant de Paris vous avez"L'embarras du choix". Air France bien entendu, mais pour la moitie du prix de British Airways ou Air France vous avez Corsair et Air Caraibes, les deux font le trajet a la Guadeloupe, qui se trouve tous pres de la Dominique. A la Guadeloupe, vous pouvez prendre soit le fast ferry take a fast ferry qui fait le trajet al la Dominique 4 fois par semaine en 1 hueure, ou prendre l'avion avec Air Antilles, qui est plus cher et le trajet est a 30 minutes. For those of you coming from the USA, there are now direct flights from Miami 3 days a week on American airlines with a 3½ hour flight time. You can also fly via
Puerto Rico which is easily reached from many hubs in the USA and then onwards to Dominica via Seaborne Airlines for the 1 hour 45 minute flight
